EnTech provides subsurface diagnostics that offer a dynamic view of underground infrastructure. Stacking our technologies creates a comprehensive system that supplies our clients with timely and accurate information enabling them to make informed decisions.
Cable mapping can be accomplished using several different technologies dependent on the type and length of the cable being mapped.
Most utility cables can be located utilizing Ground Penetrating Microwave Radar (GPR). The GPR provides 3-D views that include information such as: composition, depth, and size of underground utilities can help our clients plan for their project.
Cables and cables having a tracer can easily be mapped using energy flow induction techniques. This process allows a frequency to be applied to a specific cable or tracer wire that is then tracked using energy flow induction equipment. This allows us to hone in on a single pipe or cable with no interference.

Project
Before a commercial retailer was able to remodel its store, EnTech was contacted. It was crucial that all utilities and electrical cables beneath the floor were properly located prior to construction. Had a utility been struck there would have been a significant risk for personal and property damage.
Our Technology
Data collection for this project utilized Ground Penetrating Microwave Radar (GPR). The GPR provides information such as: composition, depth and size of the underground utilities. Cables and cables with traces can easily be mapped using energy flow induction equipment. It can be easily located, by transmitting a signal through the cable or tracer wire and then tracking the signal.
The Personalized Solution
We processed and merged the complex data to create a comprehensive and useful report. Our easy to interpret report lead to the best remodeling solution for our client.
EnTech can non-invasively pin-point problem areas & suggest solutions on most types of utilities without affecting traffic, system flows or service with greater than 80% cost savings.
